Lex Frieden is the Professor of Health Informatics and of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Frieden directs the Independent Living Research Utilization (ILRU) program at TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston (The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research). Frieden has been called "a chief architect of the Americans with Disabilities Act." He is also regarded as a founder and leader of the independent living movement by people with disabilities in the U.S.

Delta Restricts Emotional Support Animals on Flights Over Eight Hours-Delta Airlines News Hub
-Additionally, airline bans support and service animals under four months of age.
Effective Dec. 18, Delta is updating its service and support animal policy. The enhancements introduce a ban on service and support animals under four months of age regardless of flight length as well as a ban on emotional support animals on flights longer than eight hours.
